Toyota Camry G6 and S60 In-Dash GPS

Today, the topic will be another type of a Toyota car. This time it will be the Toyota Camry In-Dash GPS. There are two different types of the In-Dash GPS for the Camry: G6 and S60. First, the G6 will be discussed, followed by the S60. Later a comparison of the two models will be pointed out so that potential users will know the difference between the two.

Toyota Camry G6 In-Dash Navigation

The image above shows the G6 model of the In-Dash Navigation system. Otto Navi is selling this item at at price of $549.99. This navigation system can fit into a Camry of year 2007-2011. One thing to not about this model is that there is a USB plug (cable included) as well as two SD card slots. One of the SD cards slot is used for the media and the other for the actual GPS system. A major positive aspect of this model (G6) is that it comes with a free map of North American including USA, Mexico, and Canada. Mexico is not included in the Prius and Tacoma model. Other than the free North America map, this navigation system includes a remote control with battery inside, power cable, iPod cable, USB cable (mentioned above), and a one year warranty. Like the other car models' GPS unit that I have mentioned, this G6 models also comes with wireless Bluetooth, AM/FM radio, DVD & CD Player, iPod capability, and GPS. This model can also do file browsing at the same time and it allows users to do dual zone (i.e. call using Bluetooth and GPS at the same time).

(Choosing a logo)

With this GPS unit, users are able to choose a logo that they would like to see when they turn on the system (as seen in the first picture). Compare to the other car models' in-dash GPS system, this one has smaller slimmer buttons. The two knobs are used to change radio channels (right side) and two adjust the volume of the audio (left side). Potential users should buy this product if they want more than a GPS system at a reasonable price.

Now, for the explanation of the S60. The S60 may look similar to the G6 model but there are some differences. Below is an image of the S60 model. If a user does not look at the two models closely, they would not be able to tell any difference. Shown below is an image of the S60 model:

The S60 model is also dual zone (multifunctional). It consists of a AM/FM radio, DVD, CD Player, AUX, SD Cards, Bluetooth Hand-free calling, iPod function, and GPS. This model runs on a 2007-2011 Camry. Also a difference in this is that this model has six disc virtual memory storage. The screen of this model is seven inch and it has a control panel night illumination function.

(Menu Display)

As one can see from the image, this model is user friendly. Everything is laid out for people to find and it does not lag. The S60 has an operation system of Windows CE 6.0 as well as an EMS Memory of 64MB SDRAM.

Both of these models are excellent if one is looking for an in-dash navigation system. One can choose either the G6 or the S60 model for it. Below you can see a video of the G6 model for the Toyota Camry.
