Toyota 4Runner S40 and G6 In-Dash GPS

The Toyota 4Runner has two types of in-dash navigation system that one can get from Otto Navi. The two types of models are: S40 and G6. First model that is going to be discussed is the S40. Shown below is a model of the S40.

Toyota 4Runner S40

This model's look is simple with tuning knobs on the bottom. The S40 fits in vehicles of 2003-2009 models. With this model one has to make sure that the car does not have premium sound or factory navigation. At a price of $499.99, this is a good deal for an in-dash navigation system. It is a full HD touch screen with features of AUX, SD Cards, Bluetooth calling, CD player, DVD player, iPod capability, AM/FM Radio, and GPS system. A list of what is included with this item is shown below:

  • User's manual
  • Remote control (Battery inside)
  • Power cable
  • iPod cable
  • USB cable
  • Free North America map (USA,Mexico,Canada)
  • Dual zone. Can listen to music while using navigation.

The picture above is an image of the Bluetooth calling for this S40 model for the Toyota 4Runner. People who are interested in this product should buy it while supplies last.

Next, I will be discussing the features of the Toyota 4Runner G6. Both the S40 and the G6 Runner has similar features except that there are some differences to the physical model. Below is an example of Toyota 4Runner G6 model:

Toyota 4Runner G6 Model

As one can see from the image of the G6 model, the difference between the S40 and the G6 is that the tuning knobs are in the middle and this model has less buttons unlike its S40 counterpart. The features include AUX, GPS system, CD player, DVD player, Bluetooth, AM/FM Radio, iPod function.. One can also use USB as seen on the bottom right hand side of the G6 model. A free North America map which include USA and Canada is included. This is different than the S40 model in that a map of Mexico is not included in the G6 model. The G6 model also has 3G internet capability. Users can multitask when using this navigation system (i.e. GPS system while listening to music). Like its S40 counterpart, an iPod cable, USB cable, and a power cable is included when you purchase this item. This model cost a little bit more than the S40. The G6 has a cost of $549.99 and this is a reasonable price in that it has more features such as the 3G internet capability.

Toyota Camry G6 and S60 In-Dash GPS

Today, the topic will be another type of a Toyota car. This time it will be the Toyota Camry In-Dash GPS. There are two different types of the In-Dash GPS for the Camry: G6 and S60. First, the G6 will be discussed, followed by the S60. Later a comparison of the two models will be pointed out so that potential users will know the difference between the two.

Toyota Camry G6 In-Dash Navigation

The image above shows the G6 model of the In-Dash Navigation system. Otto Navi is selling this item at at price of $549.99. This navigation system can fit into a Camry of year 2007-2011. One thing to not about this model is that there is a USB plug (cable included) as well as two SD card slots. One of the SD cards slot is used for the media and the other for the actual GPS system. A major positive aspect of this model (G6) is that it comes with a free map of North American including USA, Mexico, and Canada. Mexico is not included in the Prius and Tacoma model. Other than the free North America map, this navigation system includes a remote control with battery inside, power cable, iPod cable, USB cable (mentioned above), and a one year warranty. Like the other car models' GPS unit that I have mentioned, this G6 models also comes with wireless Bluetooth, AM/FM radio, DVD & CD Player, iPod capability, and GPS. This model can also do file browsing at the same time and it allows users to do dual zone (i.e. call using Bluetooth and GPS at the same time).

(Choosing a logo)

With this GPS unit, users are able to choose a logo that they would like to see when they turn on the system (as seen in the first picture). Compare to the other car models' in-dash GPS system, this one has smaller slimmer buttons. The two knobs are used to change radio channels (right side) and two adjust the volume of the audio (left side). Potential users should buy this product if they want more than a GPS system at a reasonable price.

Now, for the explanation of the S60. The S60 may look similar to the G6 model but there are some differences. Below is an image of the S60 model. If a user does not look at the two models closely, they would not be able to tell any difference. Shown below is an image of the S60 model:

Toyota Camry S60 In-Dash Navigation

The S60 model is also dual zone (multifunctional). It consists of a AM/FM radio, DVD, CD Player, AUX, SD Cards, Bluetooth Hand-free calling, iPod function, and GPS. This model runs on a 2007-2011 Camry. Also a difference in this is that this model has six disc virtual memory storage. The screen of this model is seven inch and it has a control panel night illumination function.

(Menu Display)

As one can see from the image, this model is user friendly. Everything is laid out for people to find and it does not lag. The S60 has an operation system of Windows CE 6.0 as well as an EMS Memory of 64MB SDRAM.

Both of these models are excellent if one is looking for an in-dash navigation system. One can choose either the G6 or the S60 model for it. Below you can see a video of the G6 model for the Toyota Camry.

Toyota Tacoma In-Dash GPS

Today, I will be blogging about the Toyota Tacoma In-Dash navigation system. This model fits for a Tacoma model from 2005 - 2011. This system is similar to the Toyota Prius In-Dash GPS that I have blogged about in that this navigation system has a variety of functions other than it being a GPS system. This system allows users to play their iPod using the GPS system at the same time. Nowadays, radio stations may not play drivers' favorite music. An alternative way for drivers to listen to their favorite music is that they can input their favorite songs into an iPod playlist and play it using this in-dash navigation system. This GPS system allows drivers to freely enjoy any music that they want. If drivers buy this navigation system, they will receive the iPod cable for free so they do not have to purchase it separately. This is only one of the features that this system provides for its users. Further explanation of the different features will be explained later in this blog. Before going into details about the features, the price of the item needs to be stated to show that this item is affordable for users. Otto Navi is selling the Toyota Tacoma In-Dash Navigation System for $799.99. This company is one of the best in In-Dash navigation system. For a price of about $800, users who buy this item will be able to obtain many features that they would not have gotten if they bought another GPS system.

Bluetooth Calling

Now further details of the features are explained so that interested prospect will be able to understand better the whole system. The Tacoma GPS System comes with AM/FM Radio, CD Player, DVD, iPod capability, SD Card capability, and Bluetooth. As one can see from the image above, the Bluetooth can download a list of contacts from drivers' cellphone to the navigation system so that they would not have to look up phone numbers each time they want to call someone. Furthermore this system allows parents to play movies for their children during a long road trip. Also, instead of using iPod capabilities, users can use the CD player to play their favorite music. Users are able to use more than one function at a time. For example, one can listen to his/her iPod while using the navigation system. One may think that using this system is confusing but it is simple and user friendly. All the buttons on the sides of the system are organized in a way that the right hand side are the features of this system. Users can also access all the other features using the touch screen. This model uses a Windows CE 6.0 and has a resolution of digital 800 x 480. One aspect to note is that this system comes with free North America maps which include USA and Canada. This navigation system is a direct plug and play so users do not have to purchase a separate harness and frame for their cars. To top it off, the Company offers a one year warranty for this product. Prospective buyers do not want to miss out on opportunities in buying this product. Users will receive a lot of  functions for a reasonable price. In order to get a better understanding of the system, feel free to watch the video below.

Toyota Prius In-Dash GPS

The In-Dash Toyota Prius GPS System is one of a kind. This GPS System comes not only with a navigation system but also with Bluetooth, iPod function, CD player, DVD player, as well as AM/FM radio. It is currently sold for $799.99 by OttoNavi. This company is well known for its in-dash GPS navigation system. The GPS System is multifunctional that allow users to multitask (i.e.bluetooth hand-free calling and gps system at the same time). This is a high quality product that has been tried out by many. It has a Samsung high performance processor. As seen from the picture above, users can utilize the buttons on the sides or the touch screen to access the functions that they want to perform (i.e. navigation, radio, etc.). One may think that users will have difficult times with touch screen due to the fact that the system might not recognize the user's touch. But this is not the case with the Toyota Prius Navigation System.  This navigation system right away recognizes user's touch and will automatically execute the action.

Hand-free Bluetooth Calling

One of the best feature of this GPS Navigation System is the hand-free bluetooth calling. This allows users to not be distracted with holding their cell phones while driving. With new laws coming out about cell phone usage, this is a great feature to have along with a GPS navigation system. Furthermore, this system excellent because it provides entertainment for both children and adults. On a long trip, children are able to watch their favorite cartoon because this system allows movies to be played while vehicle is in motion. The movie will entertain children throughout the trip. Adults can enjoy music that are played in the CD player. Overall, this navigation system is the best if users want to have a multifunctional GPS System for a great price. Below shows a video of the Toyota Prius In-Dash Navigation System and its features.
